Sith Lordby SJCarterComment: Interesting technique. How did you get the neon look to the portrait? Not sure I like so much black space around it, but overall a great experiment. I'd like to try it myself, if you could fill in a bit more on how you did it. |

Fair Midwayby jpochardComment: Amazing capture. The flags on the ride aren't even blurred. Definitely captured the light of a night fair perfectly. |

Oldest Church in the U.S.by TranquilComment: Loved the moody sky on this one. Your use of the heavy stone in the foreground contrasts well with the sky. It does overwhelm the church, though. The angle is marvelous, but maybe positioned a little higher. |

Into the Woodsby bucketComment: It is very out of focus. Your composition is great, though. You have leading lines in front of the child following her to the forest. A higher shutter might have given this a more clean edge. |

Morning Drizzleby kyeboshComment: I think something was lost in converting it to black and white. Image appears very grainy, though that could be from the rain falling. It was a difficult lighting to capture a really contrasty image. |

Somebody Is Soakedby phylsy7Comment: Didnt think the image was aesthetically pleasing. Good contrast in the umbrella, though. |

Rainy day trafficby naomikComment: How come there are no leaves on the trees? Do you have serious problems with gypsy moth caterpillars? Anyway, thought the shot was not all that interesting. |

Chimps.jpgby pgattComment: This was so cute. Closer cropping may make the image better, or maybe not. The shadow is very strong on the little one. Is there any way you can maybe lighten that part of the image to give it more detail and less harsh contrast? |

Garie-2-DPC.jpgby pgattComment: This one looks a little dark. When was it taken? I like the strong surf in this one. The most interesting part of the photo for me is really the lower 1/2 of the picture. By focusing on one aspect of the surf, either the wave or the water pulling back out to the ocean, you might get a more concentrated and simplified photo. |
