Lonely Branchesby TomComment: Nice historical looking shot. I especialy like the hay rounds in the field. Is it Pennsylvania? Anyway, I think a bit more contrast and a hair more brightness would have removed some of the flatness of the picture. |

Leafsby julesdvComment: Of all the branches, I think one with better leaves would have been better. The leaves on this image are showing bad spots which I think makes for a less desirable image. |

obscure waysby soerenComment: The light behind the flower seens very harsh. The flower is also somewhat out of focus and dark, probably because of the background. Difficult light when you have a really shadowy area and a really bright area. With a point and shoot, it is difficult to shoot such an image. Try many settings and subjects to learn which lighting your camera can depict well without blown out highlights or shadowy main subjects. |

..until the sun comes up over sta monica blvd...by TapSiLogComment: Didn't like the use of halves. Half yellow and half blue. I also think that the palm tree in the background didn't take up enough of the composition. Maybe a crop to show more of the tree would have made the image better. |

Country Branchby jsasComment: Sky was over processed, which created an almost painted look. The image has a lot going for it. The composition is very nice and it is a nice peaceful scene. Maybe a sharper focus would have gone further. |

Reflections of a Branchby trtfeasorComment: The image is very soft and contrast is somewhat flat. I tried a similar picture and chose not to do it for the same reason I see in this one, the additional reflection of the trees from the shore. Makes the image confusing and hard to establish a focal point. |

Gorgon's head on my ceilingby MontagueComment: Unique perspective. I looked at it for a long time and finally did see what looked like a head with many branches. Focus was a bit soft, though the patina on the candle sconces was well done. Overall, I see more of an image of a sheepdog rather than a gorgon. See the jowel on the bottom, and the rounded mouth with a nose in the middle? The image could be many things. |

Grape gathering...by floipComment: looks obscene. Interesting view of a branch. Thought it was too dark for my tastes. |

Log and Branchesby BikerGregComment: Image needs to be more crisp and colorful. If you used flash, try to adjust your compensation down a step to get less washout on the picture. |

The Branch Hotel . . . . available by the hour.by glad2badadComment: Never thought I'd see the day when two cicadias (or are they grasshoppers) would be making it on a branch but here it is. Great detail on the shell of the bugs. Would have liked it more contrasty and brighther, but a really nice image. |
