Natures Balanceby kimberComment: I have seen many images which relied on artifacts to depict grain. I like the fact that you did not grain the water on this one. You used selective sharpening, but I still don't care for the artifact look. |

In The Beginning...by jrjrComment: Though you depicted grain in this image, I find the colors to be very distracting. I can see this image doing well with a filter of mosaic or crackled or even stained glass. |

Umbrellasby ImagineerComment: Can't really make out detail on this one. Not sure what I am looking at, but grain is definitely prevalent. |

Deo Vindiceby jmsetzlerComment: Like the crop on this one. The corners of the hat are especially well placed. Good grain without being overwhelming. |

Playing Against the Grainby JohnTFComment: Nice grain on the hands and background. Thought the artifacts on the foreground keys detracted from the rest of the grain. |

Pink Little Flowerby annahComment: Loved the painterly look of this one. Looks almost like egg tempura on the skin. Very nice use of grain. |

Howdy!by parrotheadComment: Think you might have processed too much. The colored artifacts all on the image are a type of grain, but the image may have had more impact if the colors were evened out into a uniform monotone. |

Thoughtfulby srugoloComment: Very nice lighting on the portrait. Eyes are also clear, even with the intense grain of the image. |

Historyby A ShrubberyComment: Needed to make the image more contrasty and the color is definitely very flat. If you can get a polorizing filter for your camera, it would have added more color saturation and detail in the sky. |
