Candle inside is really overexposed. Image is pretty fuzzy too. Maybe a higher shutter speed, or an exposure compensation would have created a more refined image.

I am a big Lord of The Rings fan. Loved your interpretation. The only thing that you could do is apply a noise reduction filter because the shadow in the background has a lot of distracting spots.

Had to really look on this one, but when I found the face I was amazed at the effect you got. The lighting on this one really creates an almost negative appearance. Very nice job.

Very nice silouette. The purple treatment reminds me of Halloween. I especially like the branch in the foreground. Just those two streaks of lighter purple create a nice base for the hawk.

Your contrast is good between the dark barkground and the grain in the tv picture. The texture of the foreground is also done pretty well as an added compostitional point. As a photo, I didn't find it to be a really compelling image.

Compositionally, a wider angle might have helped to complete the waterfall, which seems to be screaming for more height.

The rays of light are a nice touch to the photo. It is my favorite part of the image. The foreground seems to be very distracting, though. It also lacks focus especially on the background. There is a lot of competition going on between the two parts of the picture which makes it difficult for the eye to rest on what should be a restful scene. Maybe some sort of a polarizer would have balanced the strong lighting when you took the picture.
