Colors of Springby The EskimoComment: Needs clearer focus to show detail of petals. Also need to adjust exposure so there are not so many blown highlights. |

Purpleby electinaComment: Way out of focus. I guess the yellow stuff was maybe pollen, but the capture didn't get it clear enough. Your dof may have been too low. Pictures like this taken on an aperture range of between 5.6 and 8.4 may give you a better dof. Also, stepping away and taking the shot further back with more zoom and a tripod would give you a clearer image. |

Engagedby mcrochipComment: Color needs to be corrected. also the white of the girls shirt is way overexposed. Adjustments may have been okay in the red range. Congratulations on the engagement. Nice couple. |

Little Lady by elsapoComment: Nice use of minimalism. Very good saturation, and I like the dof on this one as well. |

Spring Flowersby jhall29Comment: Image is way overexposed along the edge. It is also very out of focus, though it appears some of your background leaves may have gotten the best of the focus. Color is off as well. Having a higher shutter speed, or even compensating your exposure to underexpose will help. Also if you have the capacity to do a white balance reading on the camera before shooting, often that will color correct for you. |

Complementary Liaisons: Yellow and Purpleby hotpastaComment: DOF is very uneven on the image. It is hard to get a really good clarity when using a macro lens. Aperture could be a bit higher, and you could also step back just a little then zoom in to get a better even field to the image. |
