A nice bit of Americana, and I love the history you wrote. We have a place like this in the next town, called Ashford Drive-In, but unlike Carl's, they are still closed. Too bad you can't get inside there and get some shots of those old machines. Might make for some great vintage or history shots.

Thanks for your comment on my day 13. I do have a 300mm zoom, which I intend to use. Anyway, I love the tree frame on this. A bit less exposure and more saturation and contrast on those trees would make them really come alive with wonderful patterns and detail.
