Focus is off quite a bit and exposure seems to have been difficult. Looks like you might have had to compensate on the lion a bit too much in pp. I would expose for the lion, accepting the extreme highlight of the foreground, then maybe burned in the foreground just to take the shine off.

Interesting, but not only is the piece crooked, but there is a big huge dark spot on the pants, and the cards aren't stopped notion enough.

If not for the title I would not even notice the figure. I think you are relying too much on the title to tell the story.

Really jagged on the lines of grass. I have that problem every once in a while and it often occurs when the day is too bright.

Very much like you added too much noise reduction. Made everything look too detailless. Perhaps the initial exposure was not enough, so you tried to compensate by adj exposure in pp and then trying to get rid of the problematic artifacts. Need to perhaps try to use an iso that is lower, though that would make exposure longer.
