Nice Owl, but I think they look this way all of the time. How do I know it isn't Hungrey instead of bored? Something about the focus bothers me as well, it seems to make the survice of the image a bit active.

I believe this person is more "wondering whats in the box" than bored The image seems like you put alot of time into making a scene based on the Surviver tv show.
The beach sand and palm tree may work in your favour but the blue wall destroys whatever the sand a tree does to the illusion of a Bore ship wreck surviver. I think yyou were onto something and you should deserve credit for your thought process but I think you missed the mark of "Bored"

I think it is dangerous for the photographer to transfer his/her feelings of what an image should say based on his/her feelings without the image speaking strongely for itself. You and I may feel bored at such ceremonies, but your image does not convey this message. I do like the shot but I don't feel that it says that these people or bored.
