Artisticlly, the diagonal of the construction equipment is so strong it is actiing like a wall to stop the view of the background. Area in forground is a bit dark.(shadow area on the ground has no detail) better exposure in the camera may help but you may have eliminated this problem in processing.

Interesting photo.....I like your cropping solution taking out the (yellow) board on the very top of frame edge during the crop would have improve image.

The "hot spot in the center of the image is a big distraction. I really don't know how to correct this other than not shooting into the sun.

I am not considering title in this challenge...I am looking for images that meet the challenge description visually.

If I didn't see the title I would have guess the peddles of the flower just feel off.
I generally don't like making suggests on how to take a photo with the fear of stepping on your creativity I still would suggest that you would have had a winner here if you include a hand pulling off the peddles.
