Beginnings of a turtle pyramidby hubbardr1Comment: IMHO you need to crop a lot of the top off and emphasize the turtles. Also, this doesn't give me any feeling that you have shot from the ground up. It looks to me like you are looking down on the turtles. |

Sticky Feetby lshlesComment: IMHO this is a really good close-up (macro?), but it's so close-up, that we lose all feeling of up and down. |

Morning Gloryby GoldBerryComment: Aaaargh. Too bad about the phone lines in the background. Is that a fountain behind her? The folds in the dress look like continuations of the phone lines at first glance. This might have worked better if you had waited a couple of minutes for more light so the woman isn't in such a deep shadow. |

i'm gonna fall!by DetrelasComment: Too dark. The child's left foot is completely gone in the shadow and we only see a white blob. The black border doesn't help matters. |

The "Castle"by Shan2112Comment: Don't care for the purple sky. This would have been a good candidate for B&W. |

Looking up to my son.by just_havin_funComment: If he was really upside down, his hair wouldn't be so neat. It looks as if all you did was rotate a regular snapshot 180 degrees. Really doesn't fit the challenge. |

Branchingby ad12Comment: I'm not sure B&W was the best choice for this. The background is so busy that the subject gets lost in it. It might have been better in color. It might have been easier to see if the picture was larger. |
