Charityby holdingtimeComment: I really don't get the connection to charity, but they look like nice girls. |

On my daddy's shouldersby RikkiComment: This would have been great for the virtues challenge. Prudence. This girl isn't going to do anything without considering all her options!
I have mixed feelings about the guy in the cap. I really like the red wall, so if cropping him meant losing the wall, I'd leave him there. He's a a distraction, but a minor one IMNSHO, and this *is* shot in a crowd. |

The Grouchby RikkiComment: I vote for the balloon. 8) This is a fine portrait on its own, but the balloon gives it that added quirkiness that puts it in a whole different class. |

Capitola-Beach.by MacDonaldComment: Really, really good. I love the reflections in the meandering creek. Beautiful colors and textures. |

Country Bluesby elee3009Comment: There's a lot to see here. The bench is great, and I love the color and the way it forms an arc and an angle at the same time. The color and the texture of the cut stones in the wall are another treat -- pinkish tan turning into yellow at the top with an accent of red bricks. Don't even get me started on the turquoise blue in the window. A very well composed, evocative shot. (I *might* have cloned out the twigs on the side, but they aren't that big a deal.) Thanks for sharing. |

William Jolly Bridgeby GIS_boyComment: What would have happened if you cropped out the white portion of the bridge on the right? You'd lose some of the dramatic black sky, but that portion of the bridge is so light that it tends to draw my eye out of the picture. Otherwise, great sky, water, and arch elements on the bridge. I really like it. |
