I see why you entered the other in the Grain Challenge, but as a picture, I like this one a whole lot better. You really have the feel of a cold morning, right before the sun is really up. I love the tiny figures of the horses. Good work. 8)

I'm not really into reptile pictures, but I really like the soft focus and colors in this one. The textured surface the turtle is walking on looks like some sort of liquid, and that reddish background looks like a weird sky. The total effect reminds me of one of those old Japanese monster movies... Maybe this is The Giant Turtle That Ate Tokyo...

Lovely tones and textures here -- the stone pavement,the weathered wood, the deteriorating windows... and then the figure of the woman. Is she a suppliant or raging at her fate or maybe just wondering why the bus is late...
