out of milkby Ecce_SignumComment: Great tones and grain in b&w.
Somewhere I've a couple of pinholes from side challenges of old. I'll have to bring the out and play with them again. Thanks for reminding me. |

Tropical Sunriseby GermaineComment: Originally posted by ubique: However, I love your Location: "Northern Southern California". Are there crows available in them parts?
Thank You. |
Yes, we have crows -- lots of them. I think they all live in a tree across the street from me. I think they were sleeping in this morning. I don't know where the pigeons were either. |

Tropical Sunriseby GermaineComment: Originally posted by mariuca: After looking at your Night Light, am trying to understand what you wanted to tell in this image since it's really the opposite of the former one.
My first thought was: " a sugar cake", a parody of the tropical sun. I don't know if I am right but I could see this image as part of a caper on CA. |
I'm not trying to tell anything. This was taken early in the morning. We were getting the tail end (just clouds) of a hurricane off of the Pacific coast of Mexico. I lived in the tropics for many years and the light reminded me of mornings on the Venezuelan coast. The light can be "milky" with muted colors and almost no shadows. In this picture I may have gone overboard with Snapseed, but I am happy with the result. I shoot whatever takes my fancy; sometimes it's at night, sometimes not.
Thanks for your comment.
