Backyard Beautyby singsunshineComment: Good straight horizon. This image looks a little soft to me, which eliminates some of the detail that would make this bird really pop! Lighting looks pretty good, maybe a little harsh at the tail end of the bird, but not much you can do about the sun ;-) Good composition. Playing with the Levels might help make this shot pop a little more as well. Nice colors! |

Singby edwalk74Comment: Good clarity on this shot. I wonder if a background in a different color might help these birds stand out better, or make the shot pop more. Lovely blue on the figurines. |

Male Northern Cardinal Taking Flightby janrussComment: Beautiful colors on this shot. The motion blur is interesting. I like it, but at the same time, I think it distracts a little from the detail of the feathers and the bird. But it definitely makes the shot more interesting than just a bird standing around :-) |

Incognitoby kking9Comment: Interesting idea. May or may not take some hits for not actually being a bird, but I like the colors and contrasts in this shot. |

goose. goose.by cheleComment: I like the angle of this shot, but the composition seems almost haphazard. I imagine it would be hard to get two geese to pose well for this shot :-) But there is a lot of tree and background and not as much "bird". |
