You know....you're gonna have to tell me how you get this to come out so good. I've tried several times for this kind of shot and can't get it. Great colors and lighting. I think having the leaf backlit is the key. Good composition with getting close enough to the leaf that we can see detail and yet far enough away that we are looking at a larger section of the leaf.

I really adore this shot :-) Truly do. If you want to have some fun, I think you're about one step away from having a REALLY cool looking unicorn shot. Not sure how you would change the horn to one....but the lighting and the feel and the composition you have here could make for a really awesome fantasy shot as well, which might be an awesome print! Really love what you've done with this photo.

Really nice colors on this shot....even though there isn't tons of color contrast, the colors you do have really add drama to the scene. You can practically feel the temperature of the air. Great shot!

This photo really gives the feeling that this guy is in his own part of the world. If that's the feeling you were going for, well done! The lighting looks good to me. It's perhaps a hair too soft for my tastes, but I agree that there has to be that bluriness and softness to achieve the purpose of the shot. Nicely done!

Colors of Fall

Very nice colors in this photo. I see that there's a comment about the blown out sky...there's a great tutorial floating around this site somewhere which has good tips for that. The trees in the background seem a tad bit bluish to me, though that's a pretty minor nitpick :-) Overall, I like this shot a lot. Really makes me wish I had a picnic lunch!

I really love the colors in this shot! Very nicely done. The trees at the top are slightly distracting, although my suggestion would be to try a slightly different angle and get a little MORE of them in the pic. I like that there's another natural object helping fram the pic at the top, but right now it's a very small percentage of the pic. Great lighting on this shot....very lovely mood depicted.
