can be though when the weather doesn't wanna cooperate, but this is pretty much the opposite of the challenge description and is only vaguely connected to it via title. the one little puff of cloud is quite cute tho :-)

hmm. not sure whether i like the blurred motion of the car. strangely, i find my eye wandering towards the area that is IN focus (your background) instead of your subject (the car, DOH).

like how well you can see the falling rain. i think the flowers are a bit out of focus tho. but by using the rule of thirds to create negative space, i think you have succesfully made an otherwise common subject (atleast in this challenge) interesting.

interesting. i think if I were doing something like this, i would have chosen a more 'solid' subject. with the grape vines you have here, there's just a lot of stuff making your main subject kind of cluttered. maybe if you just focused more on the smaller area with just the green leaves and the grapes.

nice.
would have liked more of it in focus (the things closer to the lens) like those green buds in the center, i find my eye being drawn to them. but the shallow DOF (that i believe caused the blurred areas) has really worked in your favor in other ways, such as really blurring the background, making the flowers your center focus.
