out-stare a tortoiseby whiteroomComment: are you still going?
Looks a bit too staged for me (who tries to outstare a tortoise, and who would expect to win against a wooden one?). |

Tic-Tak-Toeby sofapComment: Quite a lot of ephemera surrounding the old-folk. Though not easy to tidy up the place (especially if you were visiting someone else). Also, it is not that obvious what is going on absent the title. |

I just want to go home............by nordicComment: I would take her home, if I were you.
Great model - nice, strong pictures. By choosing a different depth of field, focus could have been drawn to the strong point of the picture - the little girl's excellent bored expression! |

smoke breakby drphillComment: I am going to vote you slightly higher than normal to upset the anti-smoking lobby (and even out the votes from a photography point of view). Not sure I like the look in her eyes - though I am not an expert in (your girlfriend?)'s moods, she looks a bit pissed off. Also, cigarette breaks can be quite interesting. |

More of the Sameby kwschangComment: nice pic - but does an owl ever get "bored"? Not the most obvious connection with boredom (though a refreshing change). Birds always seem that bit "aloof" to me. Except for pelicans - who can resist their gullet beaked smile? |

Rain, Rain...by itripnComment: I like the colours and the idea. There are a few white streaks on the gass that stop me awarding higher. |

Life in a bowl... how exciting?by o0oangeo0oComment: Does he do tricks?
Might have been nice to get his tail and fin in the frame too. Some reflection on the edge of the bowl is greying out his mouth, and his eye appears (to me) to be just out of focus (refraction?). But hard to train a fish, I know. |

Clockwatcherby uberman1cComment: Does it run backwards? Assuming reversal is accidental, a nice photo, good light. Maybe the minute hand could have filled the empty part of the frame for a different composition. |
