Ancient Technologyby rayg544Comment: nice colours and I like composition. Good capture. Nothing "extra special" to make this stand out, however (sorry!). |

Formation of Sedimentary Rockby whiteroomComment: surely it forms by accretion, not by rain? (geology not a strong point). Maybe not enough "beginning" without the title. Very pretty & dramatic scene though. |

...one seed started a gardenby JoziComment: Nice image. some compression artifacts in the green? Wouold have liked to see slightly less shadow, as half bean is missing. |

Small leavesby judy_dalmerComment: Interesting image - don't know what that plant is! shallow DoF makes foreground element distracting, and this is combined with overexposuire on bottom left of frame. Plant is a bit "stubbly" - any nicer examples out there? |

Originsby strangeghostComment: nice collection of bits - very appropriate. maybe just the quill leading us out of frame could have been moved or placed more fully in frame. |

"In The Beginning"by BarryComment: a bit small - you can use 640 pixels. And a bit murky! But then maybne that is what the workd did look like back then...! |

God created the heavens and earth....and look it was good.by om10Comment: For a focus on the sky pic, you really need to avoid blowing the detail in the clouds - slightly underexpose and playwith levels to "develop" it correctly in PS. Nice composition though (I like non-standard shapes and patterns of composition). |

The beginning of every dayby bhoundComment: yea for coffee. Mug not to my personal preference - something simpler would not have left the focus on the beans, especially as the pattern is blurry (a bit distracting). There are also a couple of "bits" of bean that take away from the otherwise clean representation of the beans. |
