Jamie Flower Girlby hotpastaComment: Thanks for your comment...actually, the shot was easy. Beautiful light came in from the window, and Jamie was hamming it for the camera on a black low coffee table, so no sore neck. I almost considered entering this into the best of 2005 challenge, but chose another picture |

Curahuasi Farmerby beamsclanComment: Excellent shot...what fantastic DOF and colour and a really nice relaxed pose. D70's are great aren't they? I love the grime and dirt on his jumper. I love the composition and I love the way his eyes have made contact with the soul of your lens. National Geographic quality...great job |

Moon IIIby GautiComment: It's so sharp! can see Apollo 11! Well done and thanks for sharing her you did this. I have tried with a 500m 6.3 Sigma, but haven't succeeded at all. |

Angel of Romeby hotpastaComment: Thank You,
she spotted the shot and grabbed the camera from me and took the picture. She is an extraordinary photographer and has taken some amazing photos. She has a great eye for composition and is very creative with what she shoots. I am thinking of asking her to set up her own dpc membership, but she spends so much time on the Gwen Stefani forum, that I think we may never have a meaningful conversation again! We'll both be 'forum bound'.
Thanks for your comments |

I Am The Lion.jpgby hotpastaComment: Thank You Bacchus...I held my heavy 50-500mm lens by hand and shot through a fence (which blurred out as I was 1 metre away). On the original, you can see little droplets of water on the whiskers and hair around the mouth. Obviously, the reduced size here doesn't show this.
I took about 100 close ups while three male lions fed...it was an awesome morning's shooting
Thanks for your comments,
