Sax player from 2AZZ1by inspir8tionComment: I am shocked that this wasn't better received. It really communicates the passionate nature of the player and the sultry sound of the instrument. |

Freckles and the Fluteby LN13Comment: In response to your comment above, I think the gold is perfect. I had rated you a ribbon for this clean, expressive image. In fact, I had rated it above my own flute entry. (Coincidence that the two flutes in the competition were submitted by Larry's?) |

concertoby hopperComment: I personally thought you should have ranked much higher. This is an impeccable image. As an amateur classical pianist, I can tell you that this speaks to me. Love the BW. |

Ninety And Cookin'by lshlesComment: I want to thank you for the wonderful reception to this photo and the 6th place. As a relative newcomer, I feel humbled. The feeling that it conveys must have compensated for the flaws in technique.
I never could get this image close to the vision I had for it initially, and the comments criticizing aspects of it were the very things I myself struggled with and didn't solve. I am thrilled that something about this image has spoken to so many of you.
The model is a very important figure in my life - my father. I would really like you to visit the link below, where I unveil his face and do a short pictoral history of his life as a musician. I created this page specifically because so many of you were impressed with his hands and wanted to learn more about the man. I hope you enjoy.
Any feedback would be appreciated. I've been letting him read all of the comments you have made, and he has loved them.

Heliophileby bicrayComment: What a charming, unabashed photo. I love the spirit and playfulness. The composition is great, I would have played a bit with the skin tones. Super submission. |

Your Wife's Lawyer Will See You Now Mr. Smithby GolferDDSComment: I love all the planning that went into this. The attorney's name - I Will Screw You! The play on shirt and pants. Totally delightful.. Almost looks like something out of Mony Python.
Bravo for a whimsical, well conceived shot. I would have liked it a little brighter on the lower half. |

The Artiste at Workby jemisonComment: Bravo for this hilarious and well conceived shot. The composition and tone is perfect IMO.
The expression on the duckies faces is worth the price of admission. Actually looks like that are looking directly at him with great adoration. The cap may bit distracting for me. 9 |

Bare Boulderingby hideoutComment: What a challenging image to look at. I think I am getting vertigo. My only suggestion would have been a bit more contrast. |
