Seekers at the Clambakeby Bear_MusicComment: Even at 9th place, I still feel this was under rated. By far the most visually arresting/appealing image in the challenge. |

The Duelby AlainComment: photographically speaking, the photo is okay (the depth of field is too large, the lighting is unremarkable, the composition is weak). However, when looking at animals images (as opposed to flower images for instance), one must take into consideration things like opportunity and timing. You had an amazing opportunity to capture something unique and your timing was excellent (replace these two with a couple of squirrels any you see my point). My expectation of technicals is low with images such as this - the moment weighs much stronger - you don't have time to worry about all the crap. Hope other voters realize this, though I'm afraid they won't. But, on your ability to capture an amazing moment, I give you an 8. Would love to read the story behind this opportunity. |

Searching for Fall Colors?by alavattamComment: gotta watch skin tones when you bump reds and yellows. like the soft feel of the trees. car in the center is distracting - when composing you have to watch everything. |

Thiefby KarenNfldComment: the composition is weak and the image feels tilted to the left due to the vertical line in the background. But, the lighting is excellent as is the timing. Great being able to capture a curious bird passing through... Colors also excellent. |

Oops!by JPRComment: excellent black and white conversion. I'm wondering what the picture frame under your foot is for - if it was just overlooked or if there is a point to it being here. Interesting picture none the less. |
