His head looks so unreal. I don't think I've ever seen one at this angle/this close. Think you clicked at just the right time. Since his feet are missing you could probably crop a little tighter on the bottom - make it more portrait like. the detail in the face is stunning. I think a boost to the saturation of the greens might also improve this - it would add vibrant color that owuld contrast so well with his fur. Excellent capture - 7 - good luck in the challenge!

Excellent moment to capture! Crop, composition, color, POV, focus all good. Not sure what if anything I would do different here. I think this can be used for one of those anti-motivational posters, pm me if you need examples. Could be a print... 8 - good luck int he challenge!

Wow. This close I would have loved to see it in color with a little looser crop. You got a great expression/moment and the focus is good. Not sure why you converted it to B&W when the tiger's color are so vibrant. Good luck in the challenge!

You will probably think this is odd. Each time I see this image, especially in thumbnail, I think of a gallows. I think it is the overpoweringly geometric in your face of the wood. The moon is not really that stong - I look and move on. The placing of the two men reinforces the 'gallow' sense I get. The only thing that pulls me away fromt hat is when I look hard at their faces. So, for me at least, this image works on a much more subtle level than I think you may have intended. Hey - that's good for you, yes? The lighting in this image is not the greatest - harsh sunlight - but we work with what we have. I think this would be interesting to re-visit on a dreary day, framed the same, without the smiles. Maybe not. But I find this image intriguing and forcing a second, third, and fourth look. 8 - good luck in the challenge!

I like this image and I don't like this image. I love the serendipity of the image as it is. At the same time I don't like the shirtless older man. I don't know - I think I see this as two images in one. Let me go back. I think the stong parts of this image are the lighting, the wall texture and tone, the contrasting textures and tones of the girl and her scooter. The redness of the man, his awkward position, take away the -for lack of a better word - gentleness of the scene. All those elements pull together very nicely. Then again, the juxtaposition of a shirtless man lends something altogether different to the image. It definitely creates tension. Maybe if he wasn't so red. I don't mind the red hat at all. His skin tones just pull my eyes right to him at the detriment of the rest of the image. That's about as well as I can put my finger on it. Sorry! 8 - Good luck in teh challenge!

Amazing. I must have missed this my first pass through. Everything about it works and works well. Tone, POV, DOF, focus, composition. Wow. Bumping to 10 and marking as a favorite. Thanks! Good luck in the challenge!

Right now as it is, this image is okay. It could be incredible with a little post processing to give it a mood. The lighting doesn't enhance the image so I think post processing in some drama would really help. Also, it would be more effective if the subjects feet were actually walking instead of standing there as if waiting. I think this image has a lot of potential that just needs to be brought out. Love the inclusion of the fence - I think it adds. 6 - Good luck in the challenge!

Technically this is a great image in most respects - focus excellent, colors/tones great, DOF, POV excellent. However, I am not a fan of using a technique when there doesn't seem to be a need. I don't know why the image is tilted but I just have an urge to straighten it out. Thats my opinion of course but I feel the image would be improved without the weird angle. 7 - good luck in the challenge!

Love this image. Something very peaceful about it. I think if the feet were traveling away and barefoot it would be a perfect 10. Cliche, I know, but what can I say? Think the crop is well done. Can't tell you if it would do better with sky or not. Creatively good also. Colors/tones not too strong but part of that is lighting part of it is sand is just not that interesting. 7 - Good luck in the challenge!

I really like this. Is that Jay Leno? Regardless, the lighting is great, the DOF and POV excellent as is the focus. I love the crop - I think it adds to the mood of the image and works well witht he tone. 9 - good luck in the challenge!
