Palm Readers Delightby dragorComment: Picture is interesting but at first glance I would pass it by due to low contrast and softness. Fear you will get bad scores with the average voter. However, since the 'point' of the image is the lines in the hand it might be better if the image were a little more contrasty or less soft. Good comp, crop, DOF and POV. 6 |

TINEby SDWComment: Fits challenge. Image oversharpened for my tastes - it introduced some distracting noise (noise ins't a bad thing if it enhances image). Like the POV and the crop, focus is well done. 6 |

The subject and POV are interesting, DOF good for the image, but I think the lighting leaves a little to be desired. I will assume you tried with the lights on and it didn't work so I really can't say what else to try. |

One Branch To Bind Them Allby JaimesonComment: Not sure how this relates to branch, but you feel it meets the challenge so I will accept that. The sky is interesting and the silhouette works, but the image is rather stagnant as a whole. Crop and lighting are okay. |

Red Veinsby nemesise1977Comment: I'm not sure this quite meets the challenge, but I'm going to assume it does since you did. What I like: unique subject. What I think needs work: Not sure what your goal was with this image. The lighting is flat and the DPF short. Looks interesting but a little more contrast would help. |
