The Commuteby shelley1017Comment: Reminds me of those posters I look at while smoking... oh, nevermind. Excellent timing. Tripod? Must be. So wonderfully tubular. B&W conversion very well done. Crop and composition excellent. 9 |

Stairwellby StrikeslipComment: I love this I hate this I love this I hate this. This is seriously excellent work. Still bouncing between wall and ground. High contrast works. Is it candid? Who cares. The answer is yes in my book. Would have liked a better title but I can't think of one either. 10 |

Child in Tulipsby Photogirl_in_VancouverComment: What I love about this image is the clarity. No sharpening artifacts, and its not soft - perfect balance. The subdued lighting (cloudy?) works excellently here and the pink sweater compliments the red of the tulips. I almost missed the second child's (please god let it be a child) head which sows me that the central focus is right where it should be. Well composed and well taken. 8 |

Man at Workby fencekickerComment: Like the composition and the colors. The softness doesn't thrill me for this image but I get the feeling he just turned around to face you. Probably 'cause the expression. Cute kid. 6 |

"The Tattle Tale"by photobug2325Comment: ARGH! His brother cut off his hand! He can't point anymore! No seriously. Something you might watch out for in the future. Like telephone pole heads. Well composed otherwise. DOF works for image, POV well done. 6 |

the streets of nycby gtp1164Comment: This is a good candid but not a great candid. The colors work, the composition works, its in focus. But, I want something a little more. I can see you know how to use your camera. And I'm not saying I am an expert at candids - far from it. But show me something I don't see a million times a day. Like the guy in the back picking his nose. Or a person laying in the sidewalk. You know - capture my attention. Make me want to study the picture longer. The depth of field is excellent BTW. I almost wish those people weren't in the way so I could see the rest of the scene. No offense to those people, but they aren't that interesting. You have to make THEM the scene. For me, they are in the way of it. Hope that makes sense. 6 |

Please Help !!!by cliffjComment: This would be excellent if not for the camera shakesoftness. Subject, composition, and toning are excellent but something like this needs to be in better focus. |

An interesting showby mknaceComment: I like the composition and the B&W conversion. I think the image is a little out of focus. |

Morning stillnessby tkalectComment: pretty picture but I see it as more of a scenic than a candid. The blues are excellent as is the composition. |
