A Taste of Pollenby sspinComment: Nice capture and color, but focus seems a tad soft. Could be sharper to bring out the texture of the seed center. |

Naturally Texturedby fsieradzkiComment: Beautiful closeup - good color and detail. I'd like to see more of the strawberry though, and less of the black background. |

textile textureby HeidieComment: Tsk! Tsk! Nice texture capture in the 3 fabrics, but the lighting is perhaps a little too bright. |

Ouch!by chimeraComment: Nice capture of the dried grasses. What's in the background? It's very distracting. |

Eye of the Beholderby spectre013Comment: Beautiful - absolutely beautiful. My dog, Marilyn, a lab/husky cross has beautiful eyes like this, but she's afraid of my camera and won't let me photograph her. Great detail in the hair texture. I see this placing very very high. |

Peacockby holyjoComment: Nice color patterns. Nice attempt to capture the texture of a feather. It is a feather, correct? Would prefer that it was in focus. However, the focus method does give it an abstract feeling. |

Living Textureby labudsComment: Omigod - this looks like a snake, but is it? I hate snakes! Nevertheless, the composition and capture of texture and color are well done. Would prefer it rotated clockwise 90 degrees. |

Fresh!!!by tariqueComment: Hmmm - the lighting seems really hard (hard shadows), and because of it's brightness, I'm not getting any feel for texture in this shot. If you'd photographed the other side of the strawberry, the photo would be more suitable for this challenge. Nevertheless, good color and detail. My mouth is watering! |
