Body-Blow...Body-Blow!by sportshotzoneComment: Great moment to capture and this has a nice tonal range. The lack of grain and spraying saliva makes it a little more static than some of your other shots but it has lots of impending action, as well, with that right hand ready to move. |

Day 5by xianartComment: This has a very strong composition and is well saturated and exposed already. This demonstrates that if you get the basics right you don't need to do much more. Most of us can't resist playing just a little more, and often to the detriment of our photos. |

Brief Winter Thawby KaDiComment: This is a striking photo, beautifully composed and rendered. You've maintained great warmth despite the ice and blue/grey tones. We used to take our kids to Sapsucker Woods as well, but I don't remember this spot. |

cardinal.jpgby KaDiComment: You've captured this little red guy well against the grey background and he's nicely sharpened. Makes me miss the cardinals of Maryland. |

MourningDove.jpgby KaDiComment: The framing of the dove under the branches and against the dark tree is stark and nicely composed. The dof is perfect, artful dodging is well done, and the soft, muted colors are wonderful. Nicely done. |

barn3_toned.jpgby oravsky123Comment: Beautiful shot. The composition is extremely solid, but has great delicacy and the grainy sky adds to the texture. I really like the choices you made in this. |

Color-of-Winterby JamesKWComment: This could be a demo photo for a class in how to take an incomprehensible amount of detail, and not just make sense of it biologically, but make great art. Beautiful. |

Forlornby Bernard_MarxComment: This is a beautiful composition but I can't help wanting to see those fence posts a little more clearly. |

Etherealby Bernard_MarxComment: Beautiful job of capturing the wood grain and the bright light works really well as some kind of spiritual awakening awaiting. Both earthy and spiritual and aptly named. |
