This has perfect clarity and dof but DPC'ers are really tough raters on these if there are any technical faults (ie, exposure) whatsoever. Beautiful shot of a delicate subject nonetheless.

You've got me interested in the spot focus filter with this shot. It conveys the dry, mountain terrain and blue skies that pines like and the spot focus cone remains nicely contrasted and saturated. Nice.

I'm just not sure what to think of this because of its extreme difference. It's water, but doesn't have the flowing qualities of water. It's a surreal form, kind of like a mask but without cues as to what it is. Very different and very interesting because of the enigmatic quality.
