Like so many your out of focus is in bth grounds with your subject in the middle, IMO this all comes down to individual interpretation of the challenge details. I personally like to stay close to the details of the challenge as possible. The suject is good the lighting is suitable for the subject, with the subject in focus, I actually gave this a 6....

This is a good subject Photo, unfortunately the forground bokeh has carried through onto the suject, bringing the background foreword. to overcome this focus with auto on the foreground, and then set to manual focus and reposition your frame at the subject. 5
