Jackiby TranquilComment: you know there is something strange that I don't know if I can explain...you found a nice moment, I like her smile (genuine), the tones are solid, as is the contrast...but I can't help feeling she is in MY space, I like this woman but wish she would back up a bit...
she has a nice big smile, and her eyes sparkle, but still too close...I can't take this shot in, and I think in the end because it is fairly light, the shot fimply feels too tightly cropped...
sorry for the lack of technical reasons or specifics, but that is my take... |

Ruggedby ephesusComment: yes I agree...this is a much more powerful shot than your Free Study entry...the shadowed face adds wonderfully to the tension...great tones, really nice work... |

This IS my good sideby MelethiaComment: ok so who cares about the challenge..great shot, and love the DOF...as for the stick..I like it...works as a leading line, brings me back to the little guy...and perfectly clean backgrounds aren't needed ALL the time...
well done on this shot... |

Cobra Charmer by TOYComment: you create more intrigue with your portraits than most people do with complex arrangements...
wonderful skill, to see the human form as expressive and interesting than simply a pretty object than attracts interest... |

Johnny and the Kingby posthumousComment: wow..one would think this was shot by a posthumous wannabe, attempting scoring suicide by ignoring everything photographic to provoke and stir up the collective...challenging and even yea, daring the masses to look beyond expection and accept the facts...the King is alive, and his name is Zirilli...
(what is John hiding with his hands?) |
