I like your idea. Excellent for the challenge. I do wonder why all the negative space on the sides and the bottom of the forks are cut off? Just seems an odd way to crop this.........? Good luck in the challenge.

Not a bad attempt however the angel and lighting need improvement.
They fall short of making this other then 'two shoes on the floor-shot from above'. Special background/lighting (boot on it's side) a sock? or angle would help
this to stand out and give it a punch.
The quality of the shot is okay, focus--light is a little strong.
Your concept was good and your 100% on topic for the challenge. Good luck in the voting.
