This needs an object of interest, and more focus. I see what you are shooting but it's not clear or sharp. Maybe a tripod or place the camera on a chair to steady it.

While I think you met the challenge here..I think you need to slow up, spend more time with focus, light and composition. This is rocks on the ground..! That will not make the viewer care, or have any emotion or..any interest. Take your time, steady your camera on a tripod, fence, chair, table..take 50 shots and then try it again with different light, different perspective. Good luck.

While I find this a nice shot I personally don't see bark dust or bark chips as granual. The light is mighty strong on that Pinnacle also. Maybe try a UV filter to help with bright sunshine. All the best.

Untitled? I think one would of helped here...not a clue what I'm looking at and it's really not is focus to give me a clue. I see the pink crumbs but why do I care.
I think a photographer need to think about making the viewer care or have some emotion. All the best.
