Very science fictionish. I like the photo, I wish you'd pulled back a bit, or maybe gotten a little more behind the head so that the whole circle was in the photo. But the mood is just great.

You did a good job with the composition and lighting, I wanted to really like this photo, but unfortunately, those green specs make me think of fruit flies, ick! instead of oregano or whatever you used, it's probably just me but it looks like we're staring at some rotten maggoty tomato under a microscope. Don't take it the wrong way, I just can't help it.

Nice job, good sharpness on the entire flower. I like velvety color that you captured. Good job making it stand out from the background. That single petal that touches the water does a good job of tying the picture elements together, if you hadn't done that the water would have been a little distracting.
