This photo is real nice. I love wine and it's nice to see such compositions. Your 2 subjects are in perfect positions. The Woman and the field. your DOF is ok, and lighting too. However..for a billboard you need some type of photo that grabs and demands attention. Im not sure if this composition pulls it off. I do like the fact how her glass is empty, giving the impression that she is waiting for the grapes to grow.

Hello Gina. This photo was given to me to critique. I understand it was for a billboard challenge, and you did not meet the requirements for the theme. You were supposed to scale the image a certain way and make it seem billboard shaped. The photo itself is not bad. It is clear, good focus on the subject. The Flash? I think you were too close to her to use the flash. In this case you did not overexpose her face, but nextime try to use other methods of lighting for self portraits like this. Do you have spotlights? or any highhat lighting in your house. Try to experiment by directing light onto the subject for different looks.
