Suits at the Beachby ImagineerComment: Volleyball has to be one of the world's greatest sports, purely based on the attire! :) I might have cropped this on a little tighter to include just the two people involved in the volley, but this is still a good action shot. |

head over heels for footballby nbortonComment: Too bad Wake Forest lost this one, 16-10! A well-done shot with an impressive zoom here. I especially like the position of Gilbert Gardner (#16) as he tries to block it. |

Soap Box Derby Memoriesby fas-ligandComment: You might want to check your method of resizing the shot -- it looks like some of the details got a little funky upon resizing. In other words, as an example you can see that the man's back is a bit jagged rather than being a smooth curve. I'll be glad to lend a hand if you want to PM me. |

1957 Chevrolet Bel Airby GordonComment: I took a shockingly similar shot that I nearly submitted! Same color of car, similar hood ornament, etc. Yours turned out quite nicely! I love the sharpness of this one. |

Over the Rainbowby rakreiComment: I'm honestly not fond of the framing here -- I would have much rather seen a larger view of the photo itself, which is quite stunning. |

Next Stop 1952by OneSweetSinComment: I don't mind the desaturation effect, per se, but it seems to have left behind some odd artifacts, like the coloring in the rocks below the rail, and the green left behind in the weeds in the foreground. |

itty bitty spiderby WildpurpleComment: Nice! One trick you might have tried... it might have been cool to flip this upside-down to make it look as though the spider is walking a tight rope. |

Repeating Genesby sagestudioComment: A really good idea, but the lighting is just a bit off on this one. The overall image has a distracting blue-ish tint to it. Otherwise, it's great -- it's sharp... the white shirts, positioning, etc., is cool. |

Smoke on! by Fibre OptixComment: Probably my favorite shot of the challenge! I may have cropped it a little differently -- either zooming in closer on the planes in a vertical format, or moving it back just a hair so that the contrails at the top aren't cropped out. But this is still a great shot -- hopefully there will be a ribbon tacked to it soon! - 9 |
