Hotelby burtctComment: It's not bad for a shot of the hallway! The architecture is a bit bland, though. |

Mother, Daughter, Wife, Nurse, Teacher, Photographer............Meby Jaded_HousewifeComment: You probably already have enough comments on this one, but I have to say that I really like it. It's simple, but not. The tight crop works well and for a reason I can't quite put my finger on, I like that you're looking just slightly up at the camera. Lighting and softness are just right for this shot. Well done! |

Ghost Shipby KronusComment: This is a great composition! I can see it has a lot of potential for even more drastic post processing, but I wouldn't be the one to tell you what can be done. You may want to post this in a forum and let folks "photoshop" it for you just to see the possibilities. |

saw millby KronusComment: A very classic rendition. I like the softness, and the black and white. It may even work in a warm brown sepia tone, too. |

Blue Flowerby KronusComment: I love the color! The nice tight composition and shallow DOF works for me, too. Lovely picture! |

Brunel at His Bestby ArtanComment: Very nice work, Ian! Somehow I missed that this was yours on the first pass through. I especially like that you included the story that goes with the structure. Lighting, exposure, and composition are pretty much dead on, by the way. |

Intricacyby bryanbrazilComment: Composition is perfect; detail rendered exquisitely. Very good choice to use black and white. |

Evening Majestyby SandyPComment: If I'd sent you on assignment to take a shot of the capitol to highlight the architecture, this would be exactly what I'd want to see. The clarity, especially for a night shot, is stunning, and the composition and exposure are dead on. The framing at the bottom with the trees, though, is what truly completes the picture. It's classic and it's gorgeous! |
