I like the basic composition but would like just a touch more room at the bottom so he's not walking right on the bottom of the frame. Light is very interesting, and the one tree on the hill adds to the composition. Not entirely sure about the challenge tie-in, but going with the theme implied by the challenge.

Could also be called "Progress Forgotten" - once it was a progressive structure, I'm sure. The color tones on this look a little off, and it may be a bit on the bright side. This looks to be a great structure for pictures, though - I encourage you to try it at different times during the day (different light) and from different angles.
