The eyes are lovely, but I'm not fond of her expression - would rather see a smile. (Then again, this probably works well as an expression for the opposite gender, I'm guessing.)

Nice capture of an elusive critter. Seems to have a bit of a bluish green cast to it - try taking into Photoshop (or equivalent) and do auto color. Really brings out the butterfly's colors and tones down the blue/green cast.

A good study in lines and angles with a gorgeous sky as a backdrop. Don't think the interest factor is high enough for a free study at DPC, though.

Good sunset pic with nice clouds. Foreground gets kinda lost - not sure if a very muted fill flash (I have no idea how to do such a thing) would help bring out the grasses just a little to add interest.

Someone will probably point out that you should have the head of the horse in the shot. But it's kinda cool this way, I think. Regardless, the B&W conversion is excellent.
