Pleeeease don't be offended (and if you are, PM me and I'll delete my comment) but the first thing I thought of when I saw his expression was that he was in pain or had, ahem, just released some odious gases. :o(
I did immediately "get" that he's simply in the grip of a powerful emotion and really feeling his music. I would crop a touch at top and right to close in as you have on left and bottom.

This is exactly how I let go and unwind... I have a wonderful hot bath, with Lush bath goodies, I have a drink to hand, maybe some chocolates or strawberries, and a pile of magazines or a good book. This speaks volumes to me and is also a nicely composed image with good choice of black and white and shallow DOF.
