Old Panesby KaveyComment: Bill, thanks for your comment. I must admit to being a fan of shallow depth of field but I know that many others prefer a wider depth of focus and it's useful to know how others find my DOF choices. Thanks for commenting, and to all who commented during the challenge. I did send thank you PMs that I hope everyone received OK. |

Eye of the Stormby BobsterLobsterComment: Very striking, highly unusual and creative, merging of colours between pink and peach just right, and focus on eye in the centre pulls us in. Really great! |

Neon Zoomby GordonComment: A dynamic image that I can see on the front of a magazine. Nice composition and nice focus on the central JOE'S text at different zooms. |

Underground Curvesby alternaruleComment: I like those curves and the moving strangers - with the exception of the two in the left corner - they just seem to interrupt the flow for me. |

Ball on a stringby dsa157Comment: Nice that his main body and face are still and that the ball and hand are in motion. That circle is nicely subtle. I think a closer crop would be better - the negative space adds nothing for me in this example. Lighting is also too "yellow". |
