That's good: a significant improvement for such small changes, don't you think? It's always worthwhile to pay close attention to what I call "transition zones"; areas in which one part of an image ends and another part begins. You have to be very thoughtful about how you andle these in landscape work especially.

I really do like the perspective on this. It's a good, clean B/W conversion. The selective desat is whimsical enough to pass muster with me, though I'm not overly fond of it as a rule. Compositionally it's sweet, with all sorts of curves leading you gently to the eye, and the focus is exactly right; what needs to be crisp, is crisp.

The background bugs me enough that I'd work at trying to naturally blur it even more, but that's a tough job.
