Two Points of the Ancientsby landcameraComment: I concur with what the Doc says. I'd add to it that the use of a polarizer might help with the rendering of the oblique surfaces on the black arrowhead. But my major reservations about the image lie in the very static composition and the lack of separation of the black arrowhead from the pebbles. I think the 5.5 is a decent score regardless. |

hundreds and thousands and millions and billionsby PurpleFireComment: This image comes across overexposed to me; perhaps too contrasty as well. I'd prefer to see richer tones throughout. The other thing I wonder about, is could you have laid the focus down more in the middle so the foreground was OOF, the middle sharp, and the background fading OOF as well? This might have been stronger; my eyes are resisting moving up to the very top where the actual plane of focus is, so the end result is that it FEELS like the whole thing is OOF. |

Blown To Bits & Piecesby ramilComment: Beautifully captured firework, exposure is spot-on, colors are great. Marginal connection to the challenge in my mind, but I can see where you're coming from. Nice work! |

Games Galoreby KeiomiComment: I am amused that you inserted the "i" upside-down in "pieces" :-) Was it intentional? The image itself has a contrast problem, it looks hazy as if you were trying to rescue the dark areas by lightening and you went too far, so that bothers me. Overall it's very chaotic, but I suppose this is what you were after eh? |

Puttin' on the Ritzby cheegirlComment: Hey, AWESOME finish teammate! The way thin gs stand right now, we are actually doing BETTER than Mag7 if we can get a 4th team member result that's decent in tomorrow's rollover :-) |

Renaissance Goldby ralfwComment: This was the only 10 I gave. I can't believe it finished so far down... Hell of a shot. |
