It's an artifact that shows up when extreme shadow recovery via tone mapping is combined with heavy Neat Image, I think. Without the NI the darkest sky was extremely grainy; with it, the striations creep in. I didn't have time to figure out a work-around. It's not the first time I have seen it, incidentally. |
