It's an interesting shor, and nicely done, but you certainly flew in the face of the challenge description, which said "Create an interesting still life photo, but with a catch! To contrast your still life subject, you should have something separate in the photograph that is moving."

It's no surprise the voters took a literal view of this and scored you down for "lack of blur".

This is lovely. One small observation: I see you have the horizon of sea/sky leveled correctly, but notice how the whole image seems tilted slightly up on the left because of the stronger "horizon" there? This would be a little better if you rotated or skewed counter-clockwise maybe half a degree...

That's a hell of a replica. Great work! Where you fall a little short of hers is in that green fringing on the petals top right. I like the light on the stem on yours, though, I think :-)

It is interesting that you would say this: "This is my first true ribbon. The other one was due to a DQ of someone else's entry."

MY point of view would be the opposite; the ribbon due to DQ is absolutely legitimate, because an image that scored higher was found not to be legal. This one, on the other hand, is a special category of ribbon to me, because it is entirely technical in nature; someone else provided the inspiration, and you replicated the result perfectly. This, of course, is what everyone tried to do, and you did it better than practically all the others.
