This is absolutely excellent in a deadpan, non-forced way. I have no diea what the occasion is, but the expressions on the in-focus faces are borderline bizarre in context (whatever that context is) and it just strikes a chord with me. Well done.

Fantastic subjects, but the image is all subject and little execution, IMO. It looks like an everyday catalogue photo.

An Eternity Without Loved Ones

I like the concept here, but the execution doesn't work for me. Why? Three main reasons: 1. the young woman is at LEAST a couple generations removed from the putative ancestors under the stone, so I ask myself "How can they really be loved ones?" 2. The pose, especially the exposed leg, seems more provocative than anything else, though I admit it's not all that provocative. 3. The facial expression does not say anything to me about sorrow or loss. It is curiously neutral, and if it says anything to me at all, it's a sort of baby "come hither" look.

So the concept, and how you did the posing, seem at odds with each other. It's nicely lit and well done, technically.
