Too Close for Comfortby kcmComment: Outstanding! One of the better shots I've seen from this absurd (and famous) island location :-) |

Popcornby GermaineComment: This is really nice. I can't imagine the b/w version being superior, the colors make this shot. Want to refresh people on how the "Orton Effect" is done?

starbeamsby cginoComment: Love the eye! You really nailed the sweet spot well, this is an effective and natural-looking image, unlike what so many of us are producing: twisted, tortured, out-of-alignment fantasies :-) (Notice that I include myself in that category, folks?) |

Winter Graveyardby Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by pekesty: Very nice...the faux-Polaroid is the perfect choice for this! I know you're back east but for me this has a bit of an American southwest vibe. |
Well I'm a Southwest guy born and bred, so I guess that makes sense :-) I'm a San Diego native and have spent a LOT of time in the deserts and the canyon country over the years. |

Winter Graveyardby Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by Ecce Signum: Top notch work here Robt and the post processing finishes it off well, is the vignette added? I'm yet to take a shot with a vignette. |
Some of the vignetting is due to extreme tilt closing off corners; the rest is added to balance it out. I left an "opening" in the vignette lower left because that seemed to work better. |
