Enduranceby AndyMac24Comment: The oversharpening halos are killing this otherwise excellent image. |

Early Frostby essayComment: Conceptually I love this image, but you've apparently tried to compensate for inadequate DOF by oversharpening the hill, introducing a distinct, precise halo that really bothers me. |

across the Marshesby Ecce_SignumComment: I see aliens coming, Top Dead Center! Kinda reminds me of the early scenes of Independence Day. Good to see you going wide open, it's the only place I go!
I have my LB entry already in the January FS, and it's not one I've shown here, BTW; How about you? (He prods unmercifully, knowing full well that practically any of your LB images will hammer all of his poor examples). |

Life Under a Microscopeby RebeccaComment: My goodness! It's funny how the "miniature" aspect of Lensbaby is involved in a perceptual contest with the figures: without the figures, this would be the full-tilit-boogie effect, but WITH the figures our brains start readjusting, and it comes out all pushme-pullyou, to borrow a Doolitleism... Luscious! |

Art Festby JuliBocComment: I like that the filter you used adds some definition without being particularly obvious. Nice work! |

whispersby cginoComment: If being lazy produces gems of disfocalalia like this, we all should kick off our shoes and shamble through life :-) |

Profileby GermaineComment: Oh, that's SWEET! I'm a great lover of Pelicans, was very active in working to save them back in the 70's when they were dying out in CA... |

pulseby krnodilComment: Totally arterial, yup ma'am... My own entry in this challenge was a LB shot and it did even worse than yours. Although, to be fair, it OUGHT to have as it is sort of a disorganized mess (intentionally, but even so...) whereas yours has structure and density of meaning. I imagine the main reason you scored poorly is because the bare branches don't shout "LIFE" as much as they do "DEATH"; I haven't read the comments so I don't know.
Regardless, it's a torquing good shot! |

by ErinMComment: I think this is what I would see if I were looking out the window of a giant Manta Ray in flight over Kansas, en route to Obama's inauguration... |
