Mount Sugar Rush by willemComment: This is hilarious :-) My first reaction was "Not ANOTHER Matterhorn" before I realized this was actually carved chocolate. I admire the effort. The sky's a treat. You get the originality star :-) |

Assortiment de chocolats by markwileyComment: Nicely arranged and presented. It all feels a bit sterile to me and a little arbitrary in where you drew the crop, but all in all a fine entry. |

You deserve me! by primabarbaraComment: Elegant and beautifully balanced. Certain to ribbon. I have a tiny niggle, that the white chocolate piece is a smidge too close to the square above it :-) |

Beach Artby ThingFishComment: Really, really well done, Fred. The color palette is gorgeous, the softish rendering is perfect. May be my favorite of all your images. |

Late Afternoonby willemComment: You've stolen my former view :-) That looks so hauntingly like my marshy hangout on Cape Cod before we moved off-cape to the mainland a few years ago. It was a pleasure to view this in voting and feel right at home. I love the soft, muted rendering. |

My Favorite Putter by GolferDDSComment: You're adding a new layer to the meaning of the term "rub of the green", Larry :-) Nice to share a slot with you. |

Above It Allby LevTComment: Nice shot, but I'm not seeing this as a good example of negative space, especially with the parasailor competing with the sunset for attention. I miss that view, though, I really do :-) What with having taught at UCSD and golfed at Torrey Pines so often in the springing of my youth (said the 78-year-old man marooned under a blanket of right-coast snow). |
