Imprintsby lei_73Comment: The HDR is used as I like to see it used, in the manner of a zone system print. Very nice rendering technically, but for me the composition is a bit static with the gantry smack in the center; it fights against the converging diagonal sweeps of sky and pier. Bump. |

Boathouseby illini75Comment: Beautifully-rendered except for a hint of radial banding in the sky. Peaceful, perfectly-balanced image. |

Westminster Bridgeby bennn123Comment: Very nice night-time HDR, soft and muted. Dark areas well-rendered for the desired mood. Interesting how the construction crane, which some might consider a distraction, and which could have been cloned out legally, ADDS something in my eyes. Well-seen! |

Winter Ducksby giantmikeComment: Gorgeous, almost-metallic tonalities here. Gracefully rendered and presented. Bumping. |

Taking a standby DennisheckmanComment: Very hard thing to do (I absolutely KNOW), this business of rendering backlit snow. This is very well done. Lovely scene. Bumping. |

Stone's Peak Moonsetby hahn23Comment: Wonderfully dramatic scene. The HDR is used as I like to see it used, in the manner of a zone system print. I do wonder if the darkest areas need a little more structure to render to best advantage on the monitor, but I'm sure this PRINTS spectacularly well. The rendering of the clouds is absolutely palpable, I want to drift into that softness and ride the moon to another country not my own :-) Bumping to top group. |

Taxi by GeorgesBogaertComment: This is top-notch night-time HDR work. It's a situation where the more-aggressive tone mapping works well. Bumping to top group. |

Tom's Thumbby neilmwilsonComment: This is a striking image. The relatively flat light isn't doing you any favors. The super-black sky is a love/hate thing. Certainly, back in the day, if I shot this on film with a deep-red filter I'd get a sky like that, and it's graphic as heck, but it sort of feels a bit much to me right now. |

be it ever so humbleby tangueraComment: The HDR is used as I like to see it used, in the manner of a zone system print. From my perspective the scene through the door may be just a tad bit TOO dark, I'd like to see it half a zone brighter for a more "realistic" sense of drawing-out. |
