Tom's Thumbby neilmwilsonComment: This is a striking image. The relatively flat light isn't doing you any favors. The super-black sky is a love/hate thing. Certainly, back in the day, if I shot this on film with a deep-red filter I'd get a sky like that, and it's graphic as heck, but it sort of feels a bit much to me right now. |

be it ever so humbleby tangueraComment: The HDR is used as I like to see it used, in the manner of a zone system print. From my perspective the scene through the door may be just a tad bit TOO dark, I'd like to see it half a zone brighter for a more "realistic" sense of drawing-out. |
