Brace and Bitby DianaComment: It's a strong, even brutalist view of the tool, but its potential is betrayed by the lighting and the framing. The defined vertical of the bit thru the handle would be better placed another 15-20% to the right, I think. And the lighting could be worked with to make it sing a lot more. |

The Simplest of Machinesby MaestroGeek1Comment: The framing on this makes no sense to me, all that empty space doing nothing dynamic or informational... The crop onto the handles hurts. the light seems unflattering. The background feels muddy. |

Protectionby chomaeeComment: This just doesn't have anything going for it other than a "mechanical device"; the composition is awkward, the background comes across muddy, I donno... Be nicer maybe if the corkscrew ere protruding a but through the bottom ring. Maybe witht he cork still appended to it? It's just static to my eye. |

I'm Shocked, Simply SHOCKED!by GeneralEComment: I take it the face is NOT the man in the moon, but the 3 circles? If so, it's not really "facing off" for me. The image usffers from oversharpening on the moon, I think. The haloing is not good here. But it's an appealing image regardless. |
