Duneby jrtoddComment: Sweet and mellow. A little noisy in the sky. A hair more luminance in the foregroudn dune, not "contrast" exactly but a sense of light glowing int he ripples, woudl take this to the next level. |

Snowy Night at Rittenhouse Squareby phreakonComment: This is a beautiful "print" I bet. I wish you coudl have gotten a touch more luminosity out of the snow, it shoudl have been doable. Not much, just a tad. An interesting take ont he challenge. |

Driftwoodby cheekymunkyComment: Lovely in many ways, but there's a STRONG sense of foregroudn flash here that's flattening the image badly. The background is murky, not as luminous as it could be,a nd this doesn't help. |

Old and Weatheredby beautyqn25Comment: Sweet and strong. I wish the top of the sky had been burned slightly to contain it a bit. I wish the little "bumps" on the very left edge had been cloned out, they are disturbing. Perhaps a tad more luminance on the snow/ice patches int he foreground, for "pop". |

Ansel Adams Studyby dustin03Comment: Wonderful in many ways, great use of DOF, strong subject. Bur the whoile right side is too blocked up, no shadow detail and no separation to speak of in trees/sky. |

Sonoran Spring by ArtifactsComment: This has SO much potential. The sky's marvelous. It falls short for me, though, in that the shadows are too blocked up, especially on right center, and the "toppling" perspective on the largest saguaro is disturbing. A strong entry, regardless. |

Nightbulb by scalvertComment: I'd love to know how this was done in basic editing. It is so skillfully done I have to presume the maker knows what he's doing, and I give it a 10. I'm sure someone else has asked for validation. I hope it validates. Feel free to PM me and elt me know how you made it if youw ish, the 10 is already on it and will stay there.
GREAT! Validated! I can't wait to see how you did this.... |

Bodhisattva by labudsComment: I cannot believe this was done with Basic Editing. I am sure everyone who sees it wil lhave the same reaction. I asked for validation last night 30 mins after the challenge posted, for that reason. I hope I'm wrong and that this is "legal". But it REALLY needs that "validated" tag on it LOL. Meanwhile, I have given it a 10, and that vote will stay as long as the image stays up. If you care to PM me and tell me how you did it, just to satisfy my curiosity, feel free.
GREAT! Validated! I love it. Can't wait to see how you did this. |
